Phase II Construction is Underway at Foundation Sports Park!
Youth Sports Foundation is thrilled to announce that Phase II construction at Foundation SportsPark is officially underway. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, a vision morethan 25 years in the making is becoming a reality.
Phase I has already brought a FIFA regulation natural grass soccer field, four pickleball courts, parking, lighting, and supporting infrastructure that now serve hundreds of local children, families, and community members each week.
Now, Phase II is taking shape with the construction of a 12,000-square-foot indoor multi-sportpavilion, along with a community plaza, park offices, restrooms, accessible walkways, expandedfencing, and the Curtis Creek Nature Trail. When complete, these additions will provide year-round recreation opportunities for generations to come.
This progress has only been possible because of our amazing community. Together, local foundations, businesses, organizations, volunteers, and individual donors have invested morethan $3 million into Foundation Sports Park. Even more exciting, every donation will now bematched dollar-for-dollar, up to $1 million, thanks to a transformational matching gift fromSonora Area Foundation.
While construction is moving forward, we still need your help to reach the finish line. YSF israising the final funds needed to complete the park, and every gift—large or small—will havetwice the impact through this matching opportunity.
Together, we're building far more than a sports park. We're creating a place where children cangrow, families can gather, and our community can thrive for generations.
